Educational Requirement
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
- National Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- TVET Education Lecturing Qualification.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of zero to two (0-2) years experience in the TVET sector;
- Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
- Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
- Trade Test Automotive Mechanic, Fitting and Turning certificate will be an added advantage;
- Driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
Duties
- Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
- Assess and record the performance of students;
- Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the Program.

Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics;
- Facilitator experience will be an advantage;
- Training/Facilitation Skills;
- Trade test in Millwright;
- POE development and learning evidence collection skills;
- Assessor and Moderator with NAMB/SETA will be an added advantage;
- NAMB registered as a trade testing official will be an added advantage;
- Drivers licence will be an added advantage;
- Have a Mechatronics Technician apprenticeship NQF L5.
Post Designation
- Facilitator - Mechatronics
Duties
- Planning, facilitating and administering training processes;
- Providing training to apprentices according to training schedule;
- Facilitate mechanical fitter skills training to unemployed youth of varied ability;
- Manage simulated workshop environment;
- Implement and facilitate ongoing training in line with industry & NQF standards;
- Prepare, review and administer assessments;
- Administer training registers and practical simulated exposure;
- Compile exit level projects and monthly reports;
- Collect and review portfolios of learning evidence (POE);
- Design, monitor and deliver on the implementation plan;
- Provide learners with an understanding of the Mechanical Fitter Industry they will be pursuing a career in;
- Baseline assess candidates to check understanding;
- Conduct toolkits gap training and trade test preparation to candidates;
- Management of workshop tools and equipment, procurement and safekeeping;
- Conduct risk assessment, investigate and report incidents;
- Site visits and to companies where learners are placed and completion of monitoring reports;
- Monitoring of learners at work-place.

Duties
