Post Description:

  • Assisting in all administration and office tasks and duties, including:
    • Receiving telephone calls;
    • Rendering customer service;
    • Information processing (memoranda, letters, email, internet, minutes, etc.;
    • Filing of documentation and records;
    • Collection of post / faxes and distribution to relevant staff as required;
    • Data capturing;
    • Assisting with registration of students;
    • ITS capturing.

Post Description:

  • Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of projects;
  • Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project activities;
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, files, and records;
  • Scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and distributing meeting notes;
  • Monitoring project schedules and following up on outstanding tasks;
  • Updating project tracking tools, spreadsheets, and project management systems;
  • Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting on project progress;
  • Communicating with team members and stakeholders to obtain project updates;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn how to install hardware, software and device drivers on standalone computers;
  • Learn how to determine users’ technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions;
  • Learn how to install and configure computer networks, including LAN and WAN;
  • Learn how to manage network configurations to ensure that all computers on a network can communicate effectively;
  • Learn how to test computers, peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately;
  • Learn how to upgrade software, patches and operating systems on a continuous basis;
  • Learn how to install and configure monitors, keyboards and printers;
  • Learn how to troubleshoot hardware and software problems;
  • Learn how to act as a technical resource in order to assist users with resolving computer issues;
  • Learn how to answer tickets and emails pertaining to users’ computer problems;
  • Learn how to ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software;
  • Learn how to set up and organize IPs appropriately;
  • Learn how to train users on new software;
  • Learn how to analyze network problems and manage preventative maintenance procedures and any other delegated duties.
